The Art of Han Jing
Introducing Han Jing
Born in the 1980s, Han Jing graduated from The Academy of Fine Arts, China Agricultural University in Beijing. A Graphic Image Designer by profession and a post-modern artist when time allows, Han Jing’s work focuses mostly on figurative drawings and paintings.
Human expression and feelings are at the basis of Han Jing’s work. She highlights both inner beauty and the ugliness of life. This is illustrated by bold lines, abstract expression and strong colouring.
The figures in her work are mostly based on self-portraits that demonstrate different stages of her life, a reflection in Art of her individual self.

A range of Han Jing’s original portrait paintings is available at OUR ONLINE SHOP

The pouring paintings are another expression of her sensibility in art and life. Each piece of work depicts specific emotions in a variety of colours and shapes, by using abstract language.
These pourings also demonstrate her feelings over different periods of time and reveal the confidence and free power of the modern Chinese woman.
Han Jing’s work has been shown in various solo exhibitions and collected by institutes and private collectors.
We are very proud to be featuring a series of her portraits at Jimmy Hornet.
