Post-punk, fun-time, gal-pals formed Party Pest in Melbourne in 2017, with their debut show at the 69th birthday bash of their No. 1 fan (“Hi Mum!”). Featuring Jemma Ives and Sally Balhorn (The Reprobettes), Kate Alexander (The Hot Blood/Mightiest Of Guns), and Julia Watt (Moody Beaches). Party Pest will crash your party, drink your booze, and pash yer Mum. It’s not a party without a pest!
Singer-songwriters Hana Brenecki (Hana & Jessie-Lee’s Bad Habits) and Kate Alexander (The Hot Blood/Party Pest/Mightiest Of Guns) meld their distinct voices to form an inimitable sort of beast that at times coos and weaves along delicate lovelorn pop hooks à la the Everly Brothers, and at others soars into blazing guttural soul harmony. Alexander and Brenecki trade song for song, soldering melodies and words together so finely that the lines blur as to who exactly is singing what
Tuteri is well known within the local Melbourne music scene. A deeply emotional voice, and stage swagger that comes with over twenty years of performance experience, you’ll be drawn in by a raw and soulful musical offering. Featuring special guest, Jake Skellern.
