Blackburn or Bust presents popular tunes from the world of jazz, soul, and blues. This unlikely pair, Stephen Blackburn (piano/vocals) and Anthea Palmer (vocals) is often joined on stage by special guests. 

Stephen Blackburn continues his illustrious career as a producer, engineer, and musician, with his roots in Television for both ABC and the Seven Network. He is best known for his comedy acting appearances in Fast Forward and Full Frontal

Anthea Palmer began her career in the 90s in the original rock band “Drama Queen.” Since that time she has performed in various outfits, covering soul, blues, and jazz. Anthea founded The Melbourne Rock School and coached hundreds of young musicians in performance. 

The Venue

HAPPY HOURS 5 pm to 7 pm – $8 draught pints, house wine, and Aperol spritz cocktails. 

Intimate Music Lounge.

Moody decor, bold artwork, and plush seating. We’re a little bit funky, and a little bit rock’n’roll.

Doors Open at 5 pm

Music Set 1 at 8:00 pm (approx.)

Music Set 2 at 9:30 pm (approx.)

The kitchen is open from 7 pm to 9 pm. 

Ticketing

Booking a ticket reserves a comfy seat in the Lounge, or stool at the bar, from 5:00 pm to closing.

Groups are seated together if tickets are booked together (same ticket purchaser name). Please note that we are good, but we’re not mind-readers, and won’t know to group you if different names are used to purchase tickets.
