John Durr – Aria award-winning record producer, label manager, musician, and songwriter presents a live, solo acoustic performance to officially launch his debut album “Fading Rainbow Blues“. Released earlier this year, the album remained in the Top 20 Australian Blues Roots chart for 2 months and has received some notable accolades. “John Durr has created a lasting piece of music, an original creation of traditional music. That is quite a feat in this tricky medium“. Bucky O’Hare – Blues Blast Mag, USA Sept 2022.
The night will be imbued with an opening solo set from slide guitarist, DJ, broadcaster, and author of his debut book release “A Meeting at the Crossroads“, Matt Frederick – a kindred blues spirit performing with a unique sound and approach to the blues. Both CD and book releases will be available for purchase on the night.
