Art cushion cover featuring Art Print of “Tina” by JH Lynch.
Handmade in the U.K.
Joseph Henry Lynch (28 Oct to 16 Jan 1989) was a British artist. He was best known under his signature of J.H. Lynch.
His mass reproduced paintings of sultry women, especially Tina (1964) make him one of the protagonists of Mass Market Art.
With increasing interest in mid-century design, his works have become collectible for their kitsch imaginings of sexuality. It is widely believed he used Jean Shrimpton (1960s model), as a basis for his women.
